Aids and adaptations in the home - such as grab rails, electric tin openers, and lever taps - can help people with arthritis maintain their independence, but our research has uncovered that people with arthritis often don't receive the support they are entitled to. We found out that many people don't know that aids and adaptations exist, let alone that they could be funded by their local authority.
Your MP can help. This is an issue which affects their constituents and they can make sure these services are on offer locally, and that people with arthritis know about them. Please send our Room to Manoeuvre report to your MP by completing the form below, you'll then be shown a template letter which you can send as it is or edit with your own experience and views.
